The following resolution has been considered and adopted by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association Board of Directors, as of March 30, 2004:

Zoos and aquariums accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA) are experts in animal care, wildlife conservation and educating the public about wildlife issues. The AZA strongly believes that the killing of dolphins and whales in drive fisheries is inhumane and should be terminated immediately.
